The miracle of cute clothing

I’ve been looking for a little vest to wear over button-down shirts.  I’ve never been trendy, but this is a look that I can pull off and look both professional and cute.  I’ve been on the hunt for about 6 months and I hadn’t found anything close to what I was looking for – neither in style or price range.  Yesterday I had plans to get together with a friend, but she wasn’t feeling well, so I had a whole day to myself with no plans.  I decided to get out of town and go down to the closest shopping center – more than an hour away.  I wandered around, trying things on and not seeing much…until I walked into Van Heusen.  A store that I used to absolutely love but haven’t frequented in years.  And there, laid out before me, were about a dozen cute little vests in a variety of styles and patterns.  I tried on a bunch of them and came up with two that I really liked.  I wasn’t sure which one to choose.  I knew they were on sale, but the signs were confusing and I had no idea how much they’d end up costing – maybe $20?  I asked the cashier to find out and they were $9!!  I could get both!!!  🙂
