How do I love it when I get a Miracle Postcard in the mail? Let me count the ways!!!! 🙂
Here’s another wonderful one that I received this week:
It reads:
“My miracle came when I made a conscious choice to stop struggling against the forces in my life and wishing it was different. Between work, husband, children, grandchildren, and elderly relatives, my life is full and demanding. I’ve spent many days wishing they would all “just leave me alone.” When I was suddenly faced with the possible loss of one of my precious ones, I got a clear vision of my life without that person, and my struggling heart was suddenly filled with appreciation of my life just as it is. I suddenly see the miracles they all are to me. And in the course of it, the struggle suddenly seemed like a gift! I still take some time for myself, but when they need me, I am now able to give of myself freely and know that good or bad, nothing is forever!”
My favorite line – “…my struggling heart was suddenly filled with appreciation of my life just as it is.”
So beautiful. Once again it comes without a signature or any indication of where it’s from ~ these postcards are like little miracles from the sky. Thank you so much to the person who sent this in. You are my miracle for today.
In other news, I’m going to take a little vacation until next Thursday. I may pop in once or twice to say hello, but don’t be surprised or concerned if The Miracle Journal is a bit quiet for the next week.
