Money and Cinnamon

I found the issue in my checkbook!  All by myself!  I feel really proud of myself for sticking it out and coming at it in a systematic way, rather than getting flustered and overwhelmed.  I just kept chipping away at it, finding small errors…then finding a big error…and finally matching the bank.  What a relief!

I think my resolve to keep working on it in a calm way has a lot to do with my focus on The Miracle Challenge and cleaning up my finances.  I wouldn’t be keeping my commitment to myself if I were to fly into a tizzy and let it get the better of me.  So I worked methodically until it was done.  It’s a really good feeling.

In other news, Cinnamon did something she’s never done before – she flew from her cage to my desk!  She has never intentionally flown toward me before, so this was a big deal.  I didn’t have a camera at hand and I didn’t want to disturb her new-found sense of comfort, so no new Cinnamon picture tonight.  The picture here is one from an earlier post when she was still just a baby.
