Exactly half way everybody!

I’m running a little late this morning, so just the post and no commentary.  🙂

Have a wonderful day!

It’s easy to fall into familiar patterns of my self sacrifice that breeds resentment… ie: a whole lot of energy that’s primarily destructive and exhausting. Today I found 3 moments of groundedness where I took deep breaths and reset myself. Each time didn’t last the rest of the day… and there are still many hours in the day to go. But I DID take that time to turn back to the things I’m grateful for, and take the focus off of the frustrating. =)

This actually happened yesterday, but it just occurred to me today that it’s a great example of how abundance manifests in my life – I’d been having a terrible time getting interviews with the people I needed for this week’s jobs/economics story at the paper. While waiting to try to see someone in person (since I couldn’t contact her by phone) I ended up in the middle of a group of six people who were also waiting to see her…to ask for jobs! Which meant that I hit the jackpot in talking with people who need jobs – a group that has been kind of difficult to get on record throughout this process. Just by following my nose, I ended up in the right place at the right time to get even more than I had been hoping for!
The truth is that I always have everything that I need. The only thing that keeps me from realizing it is the level of stress and worry that I have engaged in.

This morning I took the dogs for our 4 mile exercise walk even though it was misting out. We had a great walk. Around mile 3 I started feeling more tuckered out than usual. I wished that my husband would come pick us up. With no cell phone on me, I laughingly decided to send him an ESP message. Haha! In about 2 minutes I looked up and there he was!! I kid you not. I wasn’t laughing now for I was dumbfounded with awe. I asked him why he came and he said that it had started to rain again at our house. So I told him about my wish. He didn’t seem surprised. He acted like “yeah, Duh, that’s how esp works.”
So, two miracles this morning. One is my awesome husband. The other was having my little wish come true. Smile.
