From second language to first book

I had the pleasure of spending some time with a Japanese woman named Kazuko a few years ago. As we sat together, she told some of her story.  She asked me a bit about publishing, but at the time I didn’t have experience so I had nothing to share with her. She is a woman of great determination and, regardless of the language barrier, she figured it out on her own.

She recently sent in this miracle:

I came from Japan and English is my second language and I do have hard time to speak and to write.

But I did publish my first book  “Japanese Wife” with English and  I sell them very good and people who bought my book they asked me when my next book will publish.  I felt honor. I believe this is a miracle to me.

Brava, Kazuko.  You should feel proud of yourself. I’m thrilled for you! 🙂
