An ode to friendship

A friend who listens when you’re whining and loves you anyway.

A friend who listens to you bitch and then lets out an explosive “Motherf****r!” at exactly the right moment.

A friend who has a way of cheering you up and making you laugh even though 20 minutes ago you felt like you might never laugh again.

A friend who listens as much as she shares, and shares as much as she listens.

A friend who stepped quietly into your life, becoming an important presence without you even realizing it was happening.

A friend who understands the crazy way your brain works (and the even crazier ways your brain doesn’t work!)

Today’s miracle is named Becky.

Love you girl. 🙂

Everybody needs a friend like that!

mine has been with me since we were 4 years old – more years than I’d care to admit!

Hehe I love my best friend! We can only understand one another, jump from one subject to another and back to the first issue hours latter. She even understands me when I say ‘you know that thing that goes in that other thing’. =D
