I’m ba-a-a-a-ack!

Hello friends!

It feels kinda weird to be sitting here writing on the Journal after almost three weeks away.  I never intended to be gone for so long, but it was the right thing to do.  I was working on a project at the newspaper that completely consumed me – I was eating, sleeping and breathing it for three weeks (by way of explanation – it was a project that should have taken three months, but we only got the go-ahead three weeks before it was due.)

That project has now been completed and published.  I couldn’t believe how different I felt the day after it left my desk!  It was like I could breathe again!!

Although I have a whole storehouse of subjects I want to write about in the coming days, tonight I’m just going to ease back in by saying, Hi.  I’m here.  And I’ll do my very best not to disappear again any time soon.  🙂

There were days in the last few weeks when I wasn’t sure I’d ever see the end – it felt like a black hole.

Being on the other side – now that’s a MIRACLE!!!!

I made it to the light at the end of the tunnel!
