Almost famous!

This long weekend has been filled with adventures!

On Saturday, I went on a jaunt with my mom to visit a Japanese “strolling garden” at the Shin-Boku Nurseries in Wentworth, N.H. It was amazing!!  The sea of white rocks was so bright in the sunshine that I could still see it after I closed my eyes.  Someday perhaps I will have a Japanese garden. 🙂

We had the chance to sit with the owners, Palmer and Debbie Koelb.  Palmer joked that he’s been building Japanese gardens for over 30 years and hasn’t done a day of work in that time.  🙂  We should all be lucky enough to work at pursuits that feel like play!

On Sunday, my friend Becky and I attended the Lancaster Fair, one of many county fairs in our area. We had a great time watching kids run steers (for non 4-Hers, those are cows) through a timed and scored obstacle course; a 4×4 and tractor pull; riding on the Ferris wheel; eating fair food; and more.

Becky was playing with the black and white filter on her camera as we rode the Ferris wheel.

However, my favorite moment by far was when we were exiting one of the milking barns and I heard someone say, “You’re the Miracle Lady!” She went on to say that she comes home each day looking forward to reading what I’ve posted on The Miracle Journal!  I am so honored and delighted.  🙂

Then today, I was in WalMart and SOMEONE ELSE said, “Oh, you’re the one who does the miracles!”  She had been at the school presentation I gave last week and she recognized me.

I feel practically famous!  To Maureen and Jeanne, thank you so much for making my weekend even BETTER!  🙂
