The Miracle Journal video project

Hey Miracle Watchers!

Today I set out on a new adventure. My dear friend Dan Mitchell (who you may remember from the post Momentary Times) agreed to help me out for the day to get it off the ground.

The concept is that I ask people to talk to me on camera about the things that make them most joyful in their own lives…and then I share those videos here!

Today we got more than 15 people on camera and I’m excited by some of the wonderful things we heard. It will take me a little time to edit the pieces and start posting them, but you can expect to be seeing them in the not-too-distant future.

Thanks to everyone who talked with us!

In the meantime, here’s a video message I taped for you. Below are some pictures from the day.

Dan in a shirt as sunny as he is! 🙂

Did someone say this was supposed to be work? I was having way too much fun! (And that’s my trusty friend, the Flip Video Camera…remind me why they stopped making them?!?)

These two guys are from Wales and have been traveling around the US. They head home tomorrow. They had the BEST accents, plus they were adorable. I loved talking to them!

Felicity was interested in talking to us as soon as she heard what we were doing. After all, she reminded me, her name means “Joy”!

It was a beautiful day outside. Thanks, Dan, for helping to make it so enjoyable!
