Miracle in motion

When I put out the call for guest miracles, I love that grandmothers show up talking about their grandchildren.

Remember this beautiful grandmother’s tale?  What could be sweeter?

Here’s another one:

I am a grandmother co-raising my two grandchildren. The opportunity to experience the world through the eyes of a 7-year-old and a 10-year-old is a daily miracle. The joy when my grandson spotted the first fly of the spring was a surprise.  I will always remember the miracle in motion I witnessed when my granddaughter skied down her first mountain.

I was a single working mother when I grew my daughter up. For the past eight years, I have enjoyed bringing up my two grandchildren. The miracle of being part of a three generation household is beyond words. I have enjoyed teaching my grandchildren how to read, play checkers, swim, garden, as well as to grow into sensitive and caring people.

There is no bigger miracle.

Rosalie Deer Heart is a grandmother and the author of seven books. She dedicated her most recent book, “Awaken Your All Knowing Heart,” to her grandchildren. Her website is at www.heart-soul-healing.com
